A Greenhouse People Describe as Peaceful
Reviewers do not just list what they bought here. They write about how the greenhouse feels: peaceful, beautiful, away from the traffic, the kind of place you slow down in. Regulars bring their cameras. One reviewer came back a second time just to photograph it.
Come wander it. The plants are the point, but the hour is the gift.

Buy for the Light You Actually Have
The number one reason houseplants struggle is a mismatch with light. Know your window, and the rest gets easy. Not sure? Bring a photo of the spot and ask.
Succulents, cacti and ponytail palms that want hours of direct light on the sill.
Monsteras, philodendrons, hoyas and most collector plants live their best life here.
Peace lilies and calatheas that keep their looks a few steps back from the glass.
After You Choose
Everything to Keep Them Thriving
A reviewer put it best: healthy plants and everything you need to care for them. Soils, fertilizers and the right pot waiting in the pottery yard thirty steps away. Water gardeners, the pond plants are out back.

Houseplant Questions, Answered
Do you sell rare houseplants?
Yes. Collector plants like Philodendron pink princess, Calathea lancifolia and Pilea peperomioides move through the greenhouse regularly, and new shipments arrive every week. The rarest pieces sell within days.
Where can I find rare houseplants in the Dallas area?
At Plants & Planters, 1050 N Greenville Ave in Richardson, just off US 75. Collectors reach us in under 25 minutes from Dallas, Plano, Garland and Addison, and the rare bench changes every week.
How often do new plants arrive?
Every week. If you are hunting something specific, call and ask what landed, or come early after a shipment for first pick.
Can you help me pick a plant for my light?
Yes. Describe the room or bring a photo of the spot, and staff will match a plant to the light it actually gets. Every plant carries a handwritten care tag so the advice goes home with it.
Do you carry plant care supplies?
Yes, everything to keep plants thriving: soils, fertilizers down to liquid orchid feed, and the right pot from the pottery yard next door.
Do you have pet-safe plants?
Yes. Plenty of what we carry is safe around cats and dogs, and plenty is not, so it is worth asking rather than guessing. Tell staff what you have at home and they will walk you to the right benches and steer you away from the ones to avoid.
Is there a card minimum?
Yes, there is a $10 minimum on card purchases. Cash works for anything smaller.
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs, but we ask that you leave them at home. There is a lot of glass, heavy pottery and open soil at ankle height, and the shop cats consider the place theirs. Service animals are always welcome.
